TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:

Warrens have combined efforts with Learndirect and Telford College to provide onsite courses for all employees who meet the governments subsidised learning requirements, offering a variety of courses that are relevant to the activities within the company. We are committed to providing an environment that will nurture personal development and subsequently allow the company to make use of the expertise and skills of a capable workforce.
Warrens provide in house training to any employee who wishes to be first aid qualified. The company has a comprehensive first aid training programme and teaches up to 3 day H&S at work courses. Employees who gain the qualification are kept up to date with regular refreshers.
PPT and Forklift training
All employees who require a PPT or Forklift qualification are taught to ITSSAR standard. ITSSAR is approved and listed as an accrediting organisation by the Health and Safety commission in the Approved Code of Practice for Lift Truck Operator training. The company provides regular refreshers
and updates to all employees who operate ME.
Warrens is dedicated to delivering the statutory requirements of the Driver Certificate in Professional Competence (CPC) for our employees.
All new drivers to the business undergo two full days of training to ensure they meet the exceptionally high standards that are expected of a Warren’s driver.
The company is on track with its schedule in delivering our accredited courses in compliance with the new demands of the Driver CPC. The CPC programme is the new legislative requirement aimed at ensuring LGV and PCV drivers are trained to a high standard in a variety of complimentary areas such as Health and Safety, Customer Care and Safe and Efficient Driving.
