Warehouse Facility

Strategically located in central England, at the intersection of the M1 and M6 motorways, our main consolidation hub is perfectly positioned to service all major supermarket depots.

Capacity within the Warrens warehousing operation is divided across 5 modern warehousing units providing a total space in excess of 250,000 square foot with a variety of racked, stacked and mixed layouts utilising covered loading bays with level access and dock levellers.  Warrens offer shared or single user options across the sites to fit the needs of individual requirements.

Warrens use the latest technology to manage the customer accounts through our Warehouse Management System which utilises EDI, barcode and Radio Frequency capabilities along with an automated reporting system that can be tailored to meet various interface requirements.

The warehousing control provides full traceability from receipt to despatch with unique pallet identification numbers that can drill down to item details.  This, combined with the ability to provide Advanced Shipping Notifications, ensures a seamless transition from order to delivery.  The entire WMS function is backed up to ensure data integrity and prevent loss of information with high speed fibre connectivity for resilience.

By avoiding the additional overheads that can come with managing your own building, palletised storage is one of the most efficient and cost-effective methods of storing items.  Our warehouses are racked with barcoded locations enabling accurate stock management and rotation of stock.

Warrens can receive goods either pre-palletised or as loose cartons by container shipment which can be palletised at point of receipt.  We are able to receive orders either electronically or manually and provide a complete solution including administration and ASN compliance.  KPI’s are provided and managed as required to each individual account achieving high levels of success.

As a member of SAI Global, Warrens are accredited to the higher level standard for warehousing storage and distribution at the updated BRC level 2 version.  This is testament to our business ethos, which is driven by the family values that underline our entire operation. From the initial enquiry through to the first receipt of your products, you will benefit from a fully experienced and friendly team member whatever your enquiry would be and we guarantee a personal service that is second to none.
